It was pointed out by a friend that scrambled with cheese would be better than sunny side up. clearly true, but I assume the sunny sides were used for the visual prettiness mostly. There are slices of cheese in the background there so perhaps they’re inside these. plus, i didn’t want to ruin the illusion with the speculation but i have my doubts that this is actually bacon. looks like its actually thinly sliced ham… but the thought of it being bacon makes it better, obviously.
I eat bacon, egg and toast sandwiches so this food combo doesn’t necessarily violate my “must not mix” rules so its entirely conceivable that I could like these. I’d try them at least. I could never make them myself though. My attempt would look something like this:
