I always sympathized with the Onceler in that book/cartoon cuz he was just a capitalist entrepreneur who was too new at the business he was pioneering to understand the importance of ensuring resources for future product manufacturing. I resisted my urge to cut it down and make sweaters and blankets from its fluff-tuff and just took a picture with the intention of juxtaposing it with the illustration so people knew wtf i was talking about…
