Well folks… this was it. The last time in my lifetime and most of yours (cyborgs not included) that we will ever have a date where the month, year and day are the same number. There is no 13/13/13 or anything higher. This was it. and like all of these changes, it bums me out.
I realized that losing the 19 in front of our years was going to be a big deal at around 97 and put WAY too much thought into than I ever should have. I even went as far as to consider for awhile trying to make a push to revert back into the hundreds to avoid this weird sounding “year two-thousand” stuff for the rest of my life. Eventually I allowed the world to carry on as planned and I will get over this one too.
This time around I again was late to realizing what a change was coming and resolved to do big new things for these last two occasions that wouldn’t necessarily be celebrated in real-time but perhaps might be historically significant if I can achieve enough. So on 11/11/11 I pushed a lot of new projects forward, got a lot of new investor capital in them, registered my LLC to get it all rolling and set the clock for 1 year and 1 month.
Today, 1 year and 1 month later, a lot has changed but according to plan, as far as the public knows, nothing has changed at all. Only you reading this know this day and last years were anything significant, but why exactly must still remain a secret for a little while longer.
Just know that 2013 has been slated for years now to be one where you see a lot more of what I’m capable of than what you currently know.
Goodbye 12 12 12. May the accomplishments I started today have long term consequences that spawn a new era of good things for me and the world I share this life with.
