my 8 year old cousin doesn’t believe that i saw Santa last night. i figured her skepticism was due to disbelief about his existence, but just heard her explain to her uncle that she knows i was fibbing about the sighting cuz “He knows when you’re awake”. dammit. you win this round, child.
