Could the person being looked for by the helicopter that has been circling overhead with a searchlight please just surrender already?
My street is roped off by the cops and is right at the bottleneck for everyone coming from 2 other directions to come down and realize they have to turn around or pull over and wait and my castle gates are being filled up by the rabble.
I’d appreciate you giving up so the roads can be cleared and open passageway to the caravan of hot chicks that weren’t coming over can be open once again in case plans change.
I was initially alerted by the police siren and lights, which I am lucky to not live in a spot where that is all that common and I initially thought it was an ambulance and a helicopter emergency delivery for a dying or seriously injured person. After a half hour of chopping overhead though, it was clear that it was a search.
I climbed up onto my roof to observe the backlog as well as the copter but it was all pretty standard stuff, so I climbed down and entered crowd in front of my house. The end of the street has police tape across it with 2 cop cars turning cars back around. The copter is circling adjacent to my back yard.
UPDATE: If you live in Los Angeles and want to know the reason a helicopter is circling nearby, you can call the LAPD air division @ 213-485-2600 and ask, like I just did. A friendly operator put me on hold after getting cross-streets from me and returned to say that it is a response to a call for backup in pursuit of a suspect on foot and while he could not report the nature of the crime, that I should lock my windows and doors until the police activity goes away. Awesome.
