Ever since using the wrong “brake” in an email in 1999 I have to pause for a second before remembering which one is proper. but out of the deleted file that used to be this simple word placement comes this slogan I thought of about that stupid rules cliche that i’m about to unveil on you.
First of all, we need to all agree that rules were not “made to be broken”. That is not why any rule is made. Rules are made to be followed and then some people think they don’t apply to them (accurately or not) and then they don’t. Important distinction.
But how bout THIS knowledge bomb i’m bout to drop on you?:
Don’t BREAK the rules… BRAKE the rules.
In other words: Don’t smash that perfectly good rule for everyone… just slow down on it.
I feel like theres a car campaign PSA in here but I’m still working out the details. had to get this one down before it left me.
Brake, dont break. It’s gonna be a thing (spoiler alert: it wont).
