I came to my parents house in Texas in August to get some dental work done that was started the last time I was visiting here but then I got sick and that killed 2 weeks of my time. Then when I finally went in there was a problem with the porcelain crown they had made for my tooth and it had to be redone – but not before wasted 4 hours trying to make it work, mind you. I had to wait 3 1/2 weeks for them to make a new one. so I did. here in Texas at my parents house. I finally had my follow up appointment today and?… there was still a defect in the crown. i say “still” because the lab tried to fix the old one instead of making a new one. This is the cloudy Dallas skyline as I entered the office at 9:30AM…
I didn’t leave until 3PM… Since I have things to fricken do outside this state, I couldn’t wait another 3 weeks, so they fixed the crown there, fiddled with it in my mouth a few times before taking it back into the lab – wait an hour – coming back – more attempts – more x-rays (i probably got cancer today) – and more taking it back until it was finally fixed.
Oh well. today is wasted though. so I can’t leave tomorrow like I planned. Saturday is the new departure date…
