Can’t a guy just go to the bathroom and return refreshed and energized because he peed and splashed some water on his face and not cuz he snuck off to reboot with some cocaine that he’s not sharing with everyone else?
Sitting on a chair and laying on a couch gets me in a mode and being upright, walking around and doing a quick reboot at 3AM pops me back into alertness to rejoin the crowds with a peppier mindset. That can’t be THAT uncommon to where it’s as big a stretch in logic as it was treated as. With those blank “trying to figure out why they’re hearing something so contradictory in what they thought was obvious” when processing my denial.
