I wantz to know who was it that decided when something gets shrunken or is just really small in a movie or tv show, its voice has to go up in pitch. cuz what? otherwise we wouldn’t understand? and whats the correlation there?
UPDATE: a commenter claims It’s a musical thing. And it’s an actual fact – the smaller the musical instrument the higher pitch it is. Think about it – a piccolo is alot higher sounding than a tuba. In the same family of instruments this holds true as well. A snare drum has a higher pitch than a bass drum. eehh.. I’m not buying it.
