Serious question: Why are “Manbuns” a meme target of mocking at this moment in culture? Is it because of the pretentious dopes that usually sport them? Or is the scorn really just of the act of a male with long hair affixing it in a bun? I don’t understand the animosity.

I think they’re cool and chicks are just jealous that they can’t pull off the same style and look as good as dudes do, so they’re trying to socially pressure males out of looking better than them.
