So I got the whole “you think yer so great, but lemme lay some reality on yew Mr Notsogreat: yor not so great at all!!!1” speech from a former friend last night. With some people I can always just tell that its only a matter of time before they feel like theyve chambered enough things they hate about me to stage a sitcom style “oh YA?? and ANOTHER thing!:” takedown. Its interesting but less fun than it sounds.
My responses are always more along the lines of “tell me more!”. These “things i hate about you” revelations are a trip when you can tell someone is racking up a nega-list about you but you dont know what it consists of. some more bizarre and crazily off base than others.
