Did a gang’s hit man just accidentally visit my home?

Previously, I falsely suspected my new pool man for being a hit man and he later died. This time I think one may have visited me for real…

I had just fixed a Brek-Lunch (“brunch” is a snack between the 2 meal. Brek-lunch is breakfast at lunchtime) of perfectly prepared bacon, eggs and toast when I heard a car pull up into my driveway. I figured it was maintenance for something since there always seems to be some open ended issue that an assistant will inform me someone will be stopping by to look at or fix. Turns out it was a drug dealing murderer.

Okay, I don’t actually have any evidence that that was the case, exactly, but I’ll tell you what I DID observe and you make your own conclusion…

I peek through my side window and see it’s a white truck from which a Hispanic gentleman is exiting, further solidifying my assessment that it is maintenance because that vehicle and ethnic description fits 2 individuals in the category I had placed the event. He knocks on the door instead of using the doorbell and I find a shirt to put on (because I always find it unseemly to answer a door shirtless) and open up. He is in his 20s and in a white t-shirt and baseball cap and steps back from me as I open the door and says “hey mayn, you…” then he turns back to the overweight woman behind the wheel in the truck and says “yo is this the one?”. Annoyed, she said no and the guy says “ey, my bad man” to me and gets back in and I close the door. As I watched them drive away, I saw the woman driving the truck hitting him as while she pulled out.

So… wtf just happened? They’re looking for someone who owe’s them money or botched a drug deal or something and went to my house on bad information, no? Also interesting that his initial pronunciation of “man” was “mayn” but when he acknowledged the error, he annunciated “man” traditionally.

Not even counting the Pool Man Mistake; this still is not the first time I’ve been almost killed in this house .___.

Something is fishy, here.
