First, lets get this out of the way since it keeps coming up every time I post one of these: No, Facebook doesn’t tell you who or when someone deletes you. Yes, I have an app that finds out for me and alerts me when it happens.
More importantly: After a big exodus of people tired of my shit that occurred over the summer months, the fall has brought me super close to almost not losing a single friend in a 30 day period.
My New Years resolution is to be so wonderful that either no one ever wants to delete me, ever – or many many more do.
If you want to find out who is unfriending you as well: Unfriend Finder is a Chrome app that is half-blocked but workable (I was grandfathered in but with enough searching i’m sure you can figure out how to get it active) — Social Fixer is an app that does other modifications to Facebook and is probably the best option for now — Unfriended is the iPhone app — and i’m sure there are others if you search “facebook friend” in your app store and such.
