I bought a Macbook Air specifically so id have an in between device to use when i wanted a keyboard (so no iPad) but not the weight of the full laptop. Tonight, my full stomach requires such a device, as it cannot handle the crush of a Macbook pro, yet I need a keyboard to type this status.
2 thousand dollars well spent.
