No time to be not Awesome

What I thought was acid reflux on the plane returning home to Los Angeles from Hawaii turned out to be a virus that latched on to me and didnt do much other than be really annoying and make me tired.  I gave it one day of nothing but sleep and then got back on with life. I still run every day, still performing my work duties, still saving kittens from trees, etc.

I thought it was in its death spiral yesterday as I powered through meetings in Burbank and a social afternoon & dinner in West Hollywood but when I got home around midnight I found it suspiciously hard to get to sleep. Even a double dose of Benadryl (one normally knocks me out for a full 24 hours) didn’t send me to slumber and I woke up today (sunday morning) feeling like none occurred.

Stuffed up nose and head, no sleep and feeling like Lindsay Lohan looks after a coke binge chased by a pill cocktail (also known as “Sunday afternoon”). want to take a nap. so obvs I’m going for a 2 mile run in the afternoon heat. cuz if you let your body act weak then you’ll BE weak, yo.
