Understanding the Universe

Why are universes spirals?…

Physics.

Just imagine the Big Bang as God taking a water covered ball and giving it a solid spinny throw into space. VOOM. Instant universe that starts expanding over the next few billion years as the swirls keep reaching outward.

I know this because I’m a credentialed scientific doctor of spinology. Or, I just thought of this metaphor and wanted to explain the universe to you with the apt analogy.

Look at this ball being twirled out of a pool and imagine it in action. [Update: don’t look at the ball cuz the image I linked to broke, but imagine the ball instead. you can imagine a twirling ball out of a pool with the water on it flying outward, right? Ok. hold on to that vision]

Then imagine it on a scale of a few hundred trillion+ times bigger and become aware of the giant reverse-drainpipe that is the spiral of rock, ice and fire balls that is our friggin universe.

It’s all in your water toys, if you just take a look. The universe is a ball spinning water off of it. Kindov. Cuz the same basic principles apply, only on a gigantic, cosmic scale.

Is this dumb? This is sounded more profound as a thought but typing it out seems to have lost some of the majesty of how giant huge physics principals are observable at bath time. If you can’t grasp the awe of the comparison then I blame you. The universe is a spinning water ball.
