Why are universes spirals?… Physics. Just imagine the Big Bang as God taking a water covered ball and giving it a solid spinny through into space. VOOM. Instant universe that will expand over the next few billion years.
Really though: Look at this ball being twirled out of a pool and imagine it in action. Then imagine it on a scale of a few hundred trillion+ times bigger and become aware of the giant reverse-drainpipe that is the spiral of rock, ice and fire balls that is our friggin universe. It’s all in your water toys, if you just take a look.
